Zerrari is a feminized photoperiod variety developed by Cipher Genetics, the project of renowned breeder Chris Lynch, also founder of Compound Genetics. With a profile oriented toward resin production and quality extraction, Zerrari has quickly established itself as one of the most demanding references in the American seed bank’s catalog.

Genetics: a cross of extractor lineages

Zerrari is the result of crossing (Dulce de Uva x TMZ) x Blackberry Octane. Dulce de Uva, a variety from Bloom Seed Co. very present in North American dispensaries in extraction format, provides the fruity base and terpene depth. TMZ reinforces the density and potency of the cross. For its part, Blackberry Octane —Cipher Genetics‘ own line developed from Sour Dubb, Topanga Canyon OG and Acai— adds robust structure and a characteristic trichome coverage. The result is an indica-dominant hybrid designed from its origin to perform in extraction.

Indoor and outdoor cultivation

Indoors, Zerrari completes its flowering in 8 to 9 weeks, developing elongated buds with a characteristic arrowhead morphology, dark olive green leaves and a generous layer of milky trichomes that evidence its extractor orientation. Outdoors, harvest takes place in late September or early October, being compatible with both greenhouse and open-air cultivation.
