The Dude Feminized

Beschreibung

The Dude is a feminized and photoperiod variety from Botafarm, a French-rooted seed bank based in South Central, Los Angeles, born from the cross between Zoap and Zangria. Its calling card is the terpene profile: perfumed, floral and fruity, with a clear fuel background. Ideal for growers seeking modern Californian-style aromas in a contained flowering cycle.

Genetics: Zoap x Zangria

The breeder confirms the cross between Zoap and Zangria, the latter built on a Thin Mint Cookies × Z base. Zoap contributes its perfumed, floral and soapy character, with fruity and citrus nuances; Zangria adds notes of grape candy, citrus-cherry and fuel. The result is a balanced hybrid, without marked dominance towards indica or sativa. Botafarm always starts from an elite clone selected from live plant in California, with meristem and tissue culture, and applies HLVD testing before producing seed, so batches come out viroid-free.

In cultivation: tight cycle and medium production

Indoor flowering stands at around 63 days, roughly nine weeks that allow chaining harvests without extending the grow tent timeline. Expected production is medium, more oriented towards flower quality and terpene expression than raw volume. The breeder indicates that each variety in their catalog is tested indoors, outdoors and in aeroponics before reaching the market, and declares high germination rate under optimal conditions.

Flavor and effect: floral, fruity with a fuel background

On the nose, the perfumed and floral-soapy side inherited from Zoap dominates, over a layer of citrus fruit and candied grape that Zangria contributes, with a fuel finish that adds depth and prevents the overall profile from being flat or overly sweet. The effect corresponds to that of a balanced hybrid, with cerebral and physical components evenly matched, suitable for versatile consumption throughout the day.
