Genetics and background

Skywalker Kush comes from the original cross between Skywalker OG and an elite OG Kush clone. The Skywalker genetics are derived from a cross between Mazar and Blueberry, providing vigour, ease of cultivation and fruity sweetness, while OG Kush supplies its characteristic diesel/pine aroma, potency and great stickiness. This combination results in robust and improved genetics over OG Kush, with higher yields and dense, highly resinous buds.

Cultivation

Skywalker Kush performs very well both indoors and outdoors. Indoors it flowers in approximately 8-9 weeks (56-63 days) from switching to 12/12, allowing for multiple harvests per year. Plants reach a medium height (70-120cm) with a compact structure, short internodes and strong branches capable of supporting heavy buds. It responds excellently to training techniques such as topping, FIM or supercropping, as well as SCROG and SOG, boosting yields}.

Indoor yields are usually between 500-600 g/m² with the right equipment (e.g. a 600W bulb). Outdoors, in temperate or Mediterranean climates, it can reach 600-700 g per plant with well-formed, resin-covered colas}. The plant shows good resistance to pests and mould, although humidity control is recommended during flowering.

Flavours and effects

Skywalker Kush displays a complex and intense organoleptic profile: a mix of diesel, pine, citrus and sweet aromas and spicy earthy undertones.
