Brains Damage Feminized is one of the classic varieties from the Dutch seed bank K.C. Brains, a sativa-dominant hybrid with a fruity and fresh aroma over a hash background. With THC around 18–20%, it offers a powerful effect that combines cerebral stimulation and relaxation. It’s ideal for growers seeking abundant outdoor harvests and stable genetics that also performs well indoors.
Genetics: four-way cross with sativa base
Feminized version of Brains Damage marijuana, born from the combination of Acapulco (Mexico) x Hawaii 1993 x Mango 2001 x K.C. 636, bringing together sativa, indica and hybrid traits in a stable result with marked sativa influence. It develops tall, healthy plants with long, narrow, glossy leaves, and a balanced leaf-to-flower ratio that leaves room for buds to form properly.
In cultivation: vigorous and productive
Although developed for outdoor growing, it performs well indoors, both in soil pots and hydroponics. Indoors it reaches about 90 cm and flowers in 8–10 weeks, with a manageable size despite its sativa character. Outdoors it reaches around 2 m, completes flowering in 9–12 weeks and can yield 800–900 g per plant, with harvest between late September and October. It adapts to most climates and tolerates a somewhat late harvest.
Flavor and effect: fruity, earthy and intense
Its fresh fruit aroma with hash notes becomes more intense mid-maturation. When smoked it leaves an intense yet smooth flavor, between sweet fruit and earthy nuances. The effect arrives somewhat gradually, with a strong but smooth onset, cerebral in nature with a slight energizing touch, evolving towards deep relaxation. With 18–20% THC, it should be dosed carefully if you have little experience.
