AutoPot AirDome

Beschreibung

AutoPot AirDome for active aeration directly around the root zone

The AutoPot AirDome sits at the bottom of the plant pot and connects to an external air pump. It introduces additional air directly into the lower growing medium, helping to maintain an oxygen-rich root zone and supporting the uptake of water and nutrients. It is a practical addition for growers who want to add active root aeration to an AutoPot system.

Even air distribution inside the pot

Four porous pipe sections inside the AirDome distribute the incoming air beneath the growing medium. Connection is made through the supplied 6 mm airline. AutoPot recommends no more than 1 L/min of pump output per AirDome. Allow the plant around 2–3 weeks to establish before switching the aeration on, then operate it during the light period. An air temperature of approximately 18–21 °C is recommended.

Use with an AirBase or drainage layer

The AirDome can be combined directly with a suitable AirBase to create a well-aerated base inside the pot. The square AutoPot AirBase is designed for 1Pot and easy2grow, while the round AutoPot AirBase suits FlexiPot and 1Pot XL. A suitable drainage layer can also be used instead. AutoPot recommends an open growing medium containing at least 50% perlite or a similarly aerating material when using an AirDome.

Safe operation in your grow

Position the air pump above the AirDome where possible, or fit a non-return valve, to help prevent water travelling back through the airline when the pump is switched off. Further compatible components are available in the AutoPot accessories range.
