Atami ATA Clean – help keep mineral deposits out of your irrigation system

Atami ATA Clean is a liquid cleaning solution for irrigation and hydroponic systems. It helps prevent mineral build-up and dissolve existing deposits, making routine maintenance more straightforward for beginners and experienced growers alike. It is particularly useful when running your irrigation systems with tap water.

Make mineral residues water-soluble again

Mineral nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, iron and manganese can gradually form deposits inside irrigation lines. ATA Clean binds to these components and breaks down crystals and flakes. The residues become water-soluble again, allowing them to be carried away with the irrigation water. This helps maintain flow through pipes and drippers.

A low dose for routine system care

The application rate is 0.1 ml per litre of nutrient solution. A 10-litre batch therefore requires 1 ml of ATA Clean. A dosing syringe for small quantities makes it easier to measure this amount accurately.

Prepare your nutrient solution first and adjust the pH to 5.5–6.5 where necessary. Allow the solution to stand for a while before adding ATA Clean. For preventative maintenance, you can include it in every freshly prepared nutrient solution. It can also be used to dissolve mineral deposits that have already formed.

System maintenance, not a replacement fertiliser

Despite its declared PK value of 18-6, ATA Clean is not a base fertiliser. At the recommended low application rate, it contributes very little to plant nutrition. Use it to maintain your irrigation system alongside your regular feeding programme, rather than as a substitute for your usual nutrients.
