Atami ATA Rootbastic – targeted support for early root development

Atami ATA Rootbastic supports root development during early vegetative growth. This highly concentrated root stimulator is suitable for soil, coco and hydroponic cultivation. It suits growers who want to manage their feeding programme carefully and are comfortable measuring small quantities accurately.

A phosphorus-rich formula with minerals and amino acids

The formulation combines mineral nutrients and trace elements with a plant extract and amino acids. Its NPK ratio is 4-14-4 by weight, with an emphasis on phosphorus. Within the plant, phosphorus contributes to the storage and transfer of energy.

Rootbastic supplements your nutrient programme rather than replacing a base fertiliser. Choose a base feed suited to your growing medium, such as an appropriate product from the Atami nutrient range.

Measured dosing during the first three weeks

Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Apply Rootbastic during the first three weeks of vegetative growth, using 0.1 ml per litre in week 1, 0.2 ml per litre in week 2 and 0.3 ml per litre in week 3.

For a 10-litre batch of nutrient solution, that means 1 ml, 2 ml or 3 ml of Rootbastic respectively. A 5 ml dosing syringe helps you measure these quantities accurately, making the low application rate straightforward to follow when preparing smaller batches.

Account for the increase in EC

Rootbastic raises the EC, or electrical conductivity, of your nutrient solution. Include this contribution when planning your overall feed strength and check the EC of the fully mixed solution. Accurate measurement and coordination with your base feed are particularly important when using a highly concentrated supplement.
