Meringue by Dutch Passion

Meringue does not feel like a variety built to impress through mass. Its centre lies more in surface, density and a finish that immediately places it in premium territory. Even the flower picture leans more toward firm structure and resin than toward gaining a lot of space.

The cross of Wedding Cake and Animal Cookies gives the line a modern dessert base, yet it never collapses into simple sweetness. Fruit and spice stay close together here, which makes the profile feel fuller rather than playful. That is exactly what makes Meringue more interesting than many softer candy hybrids built only around sugar and scent.

In growth, the plant remains controlled enough to avoid feeling restless. The flowers come out dense, compact and colourful, which gives the variety a very worked finish early on. Much about it feels gathered and precise rather than broad or overloaded.

With a flowering time of around 8 weeks, Meringue keeps its schedule compact. Yield is not the only feature that defines this line, although approximately 400-500 g/m² remains achievable. Its main strengths are the rock-hard flowers, heavy resin coverage and highly finished appearance.

Meringue comes through as a tightly built Dutch Passion hybrid with a resin rich finish, a creamy spiced dessert line and a presence that works more through precision than volume.
