DutchPro Multi Total is an organic nutrient optimiser and substrate improver designed for use during both the growth and flowering stages. Its combination of acids and enzymes helps plants make more efficient use of available nutrients, while also supporting biological activity and healthier conditions around the roots. The additive can be incorporated into feeding programmes for soil, coco and hydroponic growing.

Acids and enzymes support nutrient availability

Rather than simply adding a high concentration of extra nutrients, Multi Total is designed to improve the way existing plant nutrition is utilised. Its acids and enzymes support processes that make nutrients more accessible to the roots. DutchPro specifies an NPK ratio of 0.1–0.1–0.1, so Multi Total is intended to complement a suitable base feed rather than replace it. Better substrate structure and root-zone conditions

According to DutchPro, Multi Total supports beneficial bacteria while improving water retention and the physical properties of the growing medium. It can also increase cation exchange capacity, commonly abbreviated to CEC. In practical terms, CEC describes a substrate’s ability to hold positively charged nutrient ions and keep them available to plants. Humic acids, fulvic acids and vitamins further support the root environment. During early plant development, Multi Total can also be used alongside DutchPro Take Root.

Dosage during growth and flowering

Start in the first week of the growth phase at 2 ml of Multi Total per litre of water. During flowering, DutchPro recommends 1 ml/L in weeks 1, 3, 5 and 7. Shake the container well before use. The manufacturer specifies Multi Total as 100% organic, containing no PGRs and produced from raw materials that are free from heavy metals.
