A simple way to temporarily close 3 mm Tropf-Blumat connections

The Blumat End Cap 3 mm, single is designed for temporarily closing unused 3 mm barbs within a Tropf-Blumat irrigation system. It provides a straightforward way to shut off individual connections during installation, layout changes or tubing replacement. The flexible PVC cap pushes onto a compatible barb and can be removed again whenever the connection is needed.

Compatible with common 3 mm system fittings

The cap can be used with suitable mini tees, mini connectors, T-pieces and distribution drippers. For new installations or alterations, compatible components include the Blumat T-Branch Connector 8-3-8 mm and individual Blumat Distribution Drippers.

Designed for temporary irrigation system changes

The cap is particularly suitable for systems supplied from an elevated tank or through a 0.5 bar pressure reducer. In systems using a 1.0 bar pressure reducer, it should only be used for short-term closure, as the higher pressure may gradually push the flexible cap off the barb. This makes it especially useful during maintenance and temporary changes to an irrigation layout.

Compact PVC construction

The black cap has an internal diameter of 3.0 mm and is intended for barbs measuring approximately 3.25–3.28 mm externally. At around 18 mm long, it takes up very little space and is easy to fit even within compact irrigation layouts.
