BioTabs Einfach-Gießen-Set – Organic Plant Nutrition with Less Feeding Work

The BioTabs Einfach-Gießen-Set provides an organic approach to plant nutrition while reducing the need for frequent fertiliser mixing. It brings together five complementary products designed to supply nutrients, encourage beneficial soil activity and support healthy root development. Suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation in soil or coco, the kit offers beginners and experienced growers a straightforward way to manage plant nutrition throughout the growing cycle.

Five Complementary Products for Plant Nutrition

The kit follows the BioTabs Just Add Water method, which focuses on preparing the growing medium with organic nutrients and beneficial microorganisms before planting. This reduces the need to prepare liquid fertiliser solutions during routine watering.

Startrex is an organic soil improver containing organic matter, humic substances and beneficial bacteria. It helps establish favourable conditions around the roots. Silicium Flash provides readily available nutrients and silicon, followed by a more gradual release of additional nutrients.

The 20 BioTabs fertiliser tablets form an important part of the long-term nutrient supply. Mycotrex introduces mycorrhizal fungi that form a beneficial relationship with plant roots and can extend their effective nutrient absorption area. Bactrex completes the combination with beneficial soil bacteria and Trichoderma fungi.

Preparing the Growing Medium Before Planting

Start by thoroughly mixing Startrex and Silicium Flash into your chosen growing medium. Apply Mycotrex directly to the planting hole before positioning your plant. Then insert the appropriate number of BioTabs fertiliser tablets into the medium according to the pot size.

BioTabs recommends 5 g of Startrex per litre of growing medium and 75 g of Silicium Flash per 10 litres. For the initial watering, prepare a solution containing 1 g of Bactrex per litre of water. Follow the current BioTabs instructions for the exact tablet quantity and any adjustments required by your growing system.

A light, moderately fertilised growing medium such as BioBizz Light-Mix with Perlite provides a suitable starting point.

Simpler Watering Without Routine Liquid Feeding

Once the growing medium has been prepared, the Just Add Water approach relies mainly on plain water for regular irrigation. Silicium Flash provides additional plant nutrition within this system, removing the routine requirement for separate liquid grow and bloom fertilisers under the specified feeding programme.

Bactrex is applied through watering according to the BioTabs instructions. As it contains living microorganisms, any prepared Bactrex solution should be used within six hours.

Suitable for Manual and Automatic Irrigation

The BioTabs feeding method can also be combined with suitable AutoPot irrigation systems. With this arrangement, the reservoir holds plain water while the organic nutrients remain in the growing medium. Any additional treatments are applied directly to the pots as specified by the BioTabs feeding programme.

The number of plants supported by the kit depends on container size and the recommended application rates. For future growing cycles or additional pots, BioTabs fertiliser tablets are available separately.
