DutchPro pH + – Raise nutrient solution pH with controlled adjustments

DutchPro pH + is a concentrated liquid pH increaser designed to raise the pH of irrigation water and nutrient solutions when readings fall below the desired range. Suitable for soil, coco and hydroponic cultivation, it can be used throughout both vegetative growth and flowering. It provides a straightforward way for growers to adjust their nutrient solution to better suit the requirements of their plants.

Adjusting pH for improved nutrient availability

The pH of a nutrient solution affects how readily plants can absorb dissolved nutrients through their roots. When the solution becomes too acidic, certain nutrients may become less available. DutchPro pH + allows you to correct low pH readings by gradually increasing the pH level.

DutchPro recommends a general nutrient solution pH range of 5.8–6.5. For coco and hydroponic cultivation, the preferred value is often towards the lower end of this range. However, the appropriate target depends on your plants and growing system.

Simple application with gradual pH correction

Start by preparing your irrigation water or nutrient solution, including all the fertilisers you intend to use. Once everything has been mixed thoroughly, measure the pH using a suitable pH meter.

If the reading is too low, add a small amount of DutchPro pH + and mix thoroughly. Measure the pH again before making any further adjustments. Continue gradually until the required range is reached. There is no universal dosage, as the amount needed depends on factors including water composition and the initial pH level.

To maintain reliable measurements, check and calibrate your meter regularly using appropriate calibration solutions.

Concentrated formula for growth and flowering

DutchPro pH + contains potassium carbonate and potassium hydroxide. These alkaline ingredients raise the pH of nutrient solutions, allowing the same product to be used during vegetative growth and flowering without switching between different pH increasers.

As this is a concentrated alkaline solution, wear suitable protective gloves and eye protection when handling it, and follow the safety instructions on the label. Keep the product securely closed in its original container and out of reach of children.
