Description
Polar Dusk is a feminized variety from Exotic Genetix that combines the best of modern genetics with an impressive aesthetic and aromatic profile. The result of crossing Sunset Runtz and Bakers Dozen, this strain offers compact, highly resinous flowers in dark tones, with an exotic aroma that blends tropical fruits, creaminess and sweet notes
Its visual presence is striking, with buds that can display purplish hues covered by a dense layer of trichomes, giving it that “icy at dusk” look that inspired its name. Polar Dusk is ideal both for experienced growers and for collectors who value high-yielding genetics with unique organoleptic profiles.
Sunset Runtz x Bakers Dozen: A fusion of tropical sweetness and modern potency
The genetics of Polar Dusk are a blend of Sunset Runtz, known for its sweet, fruity flavour with tropical touches, and Bakers Dozen, which contributes structure, stability and creamy nuances. Sunset Runtz, as the mother parent, delivers that explosion of terpenes reminiscent of candy and exotic fruits, while the reversal with Bakers Dozen balances the profile with flower density, resilience and a more complete effect.
The result is a plant with a candy-like aromatic profile, very much in line with Runtz varieties, but with an extra load of resin and improved floral development. This genetic combination makes Polar Dusk a safe bet for those seeking flavour, presence and powerful effects in a single variety.
Dense flowers, intense colours and excellent yield
Polar Dusk behaves as an indica-dominant hybrid, with a compact, branched structure, ideal for maximising production in controlled spaces. Its buds are dense, medium to large in size and tend to develop dark or purple colours, especially with cooler temperatures towards the end of flowering. Trichome production is one of its most outstanding features, making it highly attractive for producing high-quality resin extractions.
Without the need for complicated techniques, this genetic offers a first-class visual and aromatic result, ideal for growers looking for a responsive plant with a solid structure and great commercial or sensory value.
Tropical, creamy flavour and a balanced yet powerful effect
The flavour of Polar Dusk is a true delight: a tropical blend dominated by fruity, sweet and creamy notes, with a deeper, earthier background that adds complexity. It is an ideal variety for those who enjoy Runtz-type profiles but are looking for a darker, more mature and complex twist.
The effect is powerful and enveloping, with an initial happy and stimulating cerebral uplift, followed by a progressive body relaxation that makes it very suitable for consumption at the end of the day or during moments of unwinding. Its potency is high, so it is recommended for users with some tolerance who are looking for intense and long-lasting effects without becoming overly sedative.
