Description
Orange Hill Special by Dutch Passion
Orange Hill Special does not feel like a loud citrus variety, but more like a line that gets its strength from control. The plants tend to stay relatively low, branch well and set a frame early that can carry a lot of flower mass without becoming awkward. That balance of calm structure and productivity is exactly what gives it its own place.
The first thing that stays with it is the orange family in the profile. The lemon aroma pushes clearly forward, while the striking orange hairs give the variety a very recognisable visual signature as well. Even so, the whole thing never feels sharp and thin, but fuller, denser and somewhat rounder than many brighter citrus lines.
In structure, Orange Hill Special builds plenty of side framework and a compact, load bearing plant body. The buds sit sticky and dense on the plant, which suits a variety that works less through height and more through flower fullness. Because of that, it reads less like a delicate sativa and more like a robust hybrid with a very clear productive side.
With a flowering time of 8-9 weeks, Orange Hill Special maintains a compact schedule. Indoors, plants typically reach 75-125 cm and produce around 500-600 g/m². Outdoor cultivation is best reserved for warm, dry and sunny regions, as the particularly heavy flowers are less suited to cooler and wetter seasons.
Orange Hill Special comes through as a compact Dutch Passion variety with strong lateral structure, a marked citrus trail and a yield character that works through compression rather than sheer size.
