GrowBase Pro WIFI Controller for central climate and equipment management

The GrowControl GrowBase Pro WIFI Controller brings key climate and switching functions for an indoor grow into one central control system. Temperature, humidity, VPD, CO₂, negative pressure, lighting and other equipment can be managed automatically according to the connected sensors. Four switched sockets, two RJ45 connections and integrated 2.4 GHz WiFi make it particularly suitable for larger grow rooms where several environmental devices need to work together.

Automatic climate control based on your settings

The supplied temperature and humidity sensor provides the basic measurements required for automatic climate management. The GrowBase Pro WIFI also supports VPD, CO₂ and negative-pressure control when the appropriate sensors are connected. For CO₂ monitoring, the system can be expanded with the GrowControl CarbSense CO₂ Sensor. The GrowControl PresSense negative pressure sensor enables controlled negative-pressure management within the grow room.

Most settings can be configured separately for day and night operation. Daily switching, interval and event timers provide additional control over connected equipment. The multi-sensor function also allows several sensors of the same type to be incorporated into the system.

Four sockets for different types of grow equipment

Different functions can be assigned to each of the four multifunction sockets. Supported equipment includes AC intake and extraction fans, grow lights, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, circulation fans, irrigation pumps, electric heaters, heating mats, cooling equipment, CO₂ valves and CO₂ generators. EC intake and extraction fans can also be regulated through the appropriate control interfaces.

Multifunctional Out 4 is designed for higher electrical loads and supports up to 2,300 W at 230 V. This output features double-pole switching and inrush-current limiting, which is particularly useful when switching higher-powered LED grow lights. If your installation requires additional controlled sockets, the system can be expanded with the GrowControl Power Extender 4+.

0–10 V control and WiFi access

The RJ45 connections can accommodate compatible EC fans, external relays or contactors, additional sensors and grow lights with 0–10 V or 1–10 V control interfaces. Compatible lighting can be dimmed by the controller, including simulated sunrise and sunset sequences. Further compatible control equipment is available in the climate and fan controller range.

The integrated wireless module operates on 2.4 GHz WiFi using IEEE 802.11 b/g/n. Once connected to your network, settings and live measurements can be accessed through a web interface using a smartphone, tablet or computer. Measurement histories can also be displayed graphically to help you assess changes in the growing environment. A USB interface is provided for updates.
