Gelato Auto

Description

Gelato Auto by Original Sensible Seeds

Gelato Auto is not just a rushed version of the photoperiod Gelato. The core of the line stays easy to recognise, only the cycle is tightened and the plant remains more manageable. That is exactly where much of the appeal sits, because it does not feel like a reduced auto, but like a more compact translation of a well known US line.

In structure, it stays more in the medium sized range and remains easy to control. Most references place it at around 80 to 100 centimetres. It does not waste much energy on excess spread. Instead, the flower set stays denser and more closed, with purple tones and strong orange hairs giving the plant a very recognisable look.

From seed to harvest, the full cycle is usually listed at around 70 to 75 days. Indoors, figures go up to 500 g per m², while outdoors around 100 g per plant is commonly given. That is not huge, but it makes sense for this size and this cycle. The strain therefore does not rely on bulk alone, but on a compact run with solid flower quality.

On the nose, the line stays on the sweeter side without becoming flat. Fruit and cream come first, with something Kush like running underneath to give the whole thing more depth. That shift is what keeps the strain from reading as just another smooth dessert auto.

Gelato Auto therefore reads as a short, easy to handle autoflower with dense flowers, visible colour and a profile that brings a sweet surface and a calmer lower register together in a clean way.
