Eazy Plug Bulk, 1000 pcs.

Description

1000 propagation plugs for efficient seed starting and cutting propagation

Eazy Plug Bulk with 1000 plugs is designed for larger-scale seed starting and cutting propagation. Each square plug measures 3.5 × 3.5 × 3.0 cm and provides a predetermined balance of water and air around the developing root zone. The bulk format suits regular indoor growers, nurseries and other propagation workflows that require a large quantity of consistent growing media.

Buffered values and self-regulating water retention

Eazy Plugs have a buffered pH of 5.8 and an EC value of 1.0. Their predetermined air-to-water ratio is 20:80. Once fully moistened, excess water can drain away while the plug retains the amount of moisture intended by its structure, leaving sufficient air available around the roots. Before use, the plugs are fully soaked with water at pH 5.8 and allowed to drain. They should not be squeezed to remove water.

Suitable for seeds, cuttings and different growing systems

Eazy Plug can be used both for germinating seeds and rooting cuttings. When sowing seeds, a thin covering of Eazy Plug Eazy Mixx can be applied above the seed. Once rooted, the plugs can be transferred into other growing media or cultivation systems. The material is compatible with rockwool, coir, peat, soil, perlite and other soilless mixes, as well as various hydroponic systems. Further compatible options can be found in the Eazy Plug range.

Stable structure for further cultivation

The bonded plug structure makes handling, sorting and transplanting straightforward. Growers continuing within the Eazy Plug system can transfer suitable plugs into compatible Eazy Blocks. The substrate material is bio-based and organic and is fully compostable under industrial composting conditions.
