Description
Double Cream by Cream of the Crop
Double Cream is not a line that needs much explanation. It becomes most readable where dense structure, strong resin production, and a softer sweet finish meet a noticeably heavier framework underneath.
The genetic base is listed as Blueberry x White Rhino. That connection gives the variety more depth than the name might suggest at first. Beneath the creamier surface, this is not just a dessert line, but a much more compact and substantial plant overall.
Flowering time is commonly placed at around 56 days. Published indoor yields usually sit near 400 to 500 g/m², while outdoor plants are often listed significantly higher. The plants generally stay in a medium to more compact range and build thick, dense flower sets.
In cultivation, the line responds better to calm guidance than to heavy intervention. Because of the tighter structure, it can make sense to open the plant lightly so light and airflow can work deeper into the frame. Hard training matters less here than a stable run carried cleanly through to finish.
In profile, Double Cream leans toward a sweeter side with berry notes, sugar, and a creamy, lightly hashy base. Its real character, though, does not come from a dessert label alone, but from the combination of density, resin, and a calmer, heavier plant form.
