Azulcar Feminized

Description

Azulcar is a photoperiod feminized seed born from the cross between Blue Sherb and Runtz, two elite lines in today’s cannabis scene. It is a second pollination worked from mothers selected in-house over several years, which guarantees stability and a very defined expression profile. It’s a variety designed primarily for flower, where its extraordinary bag appeal and aromatic richness shine with special intensity.

Azulcar Genetics: Blue Sherb × Runtz

The maternal line, Blue Sherb, comes from a cross between Blue Cookies and Sunset Sherbert, providing the sweet base, compact structure and spectacular blue and purple tones that define Azulcar. On the paternal side, Runtz (Zkittlez × Gelato) injects potency, resin production and that recognizable candy-gas character. The result is an indica/sativa hybrid with high THC levels and low CBD content, aimed at growers seeking flower quality above all else.

Growing Azulcar Indoors

Indoors, Azulcar completes its flowering in approximately 8-9 weeks. It develops an upright structure, medium height with moderate stretch, easy to manage without advanced techniques. The buds are compact, with tight foxtailing typical of Sherb lines, and are covered with a very characteristic sandy-looking resin. The breeder considers it an easy-to-grow variety, with good natural structure and no special requirements, and an overall estimated productivity between medium and high. Its mold resistance is medium, so it’s advisable to maintain good ventilation during the final weeks of flowering.

Aromas, Flavors and Effects of Azulcar

Azulcar’s aromatic profile stands out for a main note of sweet and enveloping candy sherb, accompanied by hints of blueberry, vanilla and spicy and floral accents. Some selections express complexities reminiscent of absinthe and Nag Champa type incense. On the palate, the flavor maintains that line of candy and berries with a candy-gas background inherited directly from Runtz, which rounds out a very complete taste experience.

Its effects combine body relaxation and mental euphoria in a balanced way. The indica influence provides deep relaxation ideal for moments of disconnection at the end of the day, while the sativa component contributes with a touch of creativity and stimulation. Another of its great visual attractions is the coloration in blue, purple and even almost black tones that can appear in both calyxes and leaves, turning each harvest into an authentic chromatic spectacle.
