Origin

The origins of Amnesia Regular can be traced back to the pioneering days of cannabis breeding, where the focus was on creating strains that could deliver both potent effects and exceptional growth characteristics. By merging the Sativa-dominant Haze with the Indica-dominant Afghan, breeders have crafted a strain that offers a balanced experience, merging cerebral stimulation with deep physical relaxation.

Amnesia Regular Strain Sativa or Indica?

Amnesia Regular is predominantly a Sativa-dominant strain, boasting a phenotype that is 70% Sativa and 30% Indica. This Sativa dominance is a key factor in the strain’s ability to deliver uplifting and euphoric effects that can enhance creativity and sociability. However, the Indica presence ensures that users also experience a sense of relaxation and calmness, preventing the overly stimulating effects that some pure Sativas can induce.

The Sativa characteristics of Amnesia Regular make it an ideal choice for daytime use when you need a boost of energy and mental clarity. It can be particularly beneficial for those looking to enhance focus and productivity during the day. Conversely, the Indica component ensures that the strain is not too overwhelming, offering a balanced high that can smoothly transition from daytime activities to a relaxing evening.

The effects of Amnesia Regular are a harmonious blend of happiness, relaxation, and sociability. Upon consumption, users typically experience a wave of happiness and euphoria that uplifts the mood and brightens the day. This initial burst of positivity is complemented by a soothing relaxation that spreads throughout the body, relieving tension and promoting a calm state of being.

For those who enjoy social interactions, Amnesia Regular can be a delightful companion. Its ability to make users feel more talkative and open can enhance social gatherings and conversations, making it a popular choice for group settings.

Amnesia Regular Flowering Time

The flowering time for the Amnesia Regular strain ranges from 7 to 9 weeks, making it a relatively quick producer in comparison to other Sativa-dominant strains. This short flowering period is advantageous for growers looking to achieve multiple harvests throughout the year, especially in regions with favorable climates.

During this time, the plants undergo significant transformation, developing dense, resin-coated buds that are rich in aromatic terpenes. The rapid flowering cycle is a testament to the strain’s robust genetics and its ability to thrive in various growing conditions. Cultivators can expect the plants to reach their full potential during this period, with buds maturing to display vibrant colors and a sticky resinous texture.

It’s essential for growers to monitor the plants closely as they approach the end of the flowering stage. Ensuring optimal conditions such as light, humidity, and nutrient levels can significantly impact the quality and quantity of the yield. With proper care, Amnesia Regular can produce a medium yield that satisfies both personal and commercial cultivation goals.

How to Grow Amnesia Regular Strain?

Growing the Amnesia Regular strain requires attention to detail and an understanding of its unique characteristics. This strain is versatile, able to thrive in both indoor and outdoor settings, making it accessible to a wide range of growers. However, to maximize its potential, certain cultivation practices should be followed.

Indoors, Amnesia Regular can be grown efficiently using techniques such as the Sea of Green (SOG) or Screen of Green (SCROG) methods. These methods help manage the plant’s height, which can reach up to 4.27 feet (1.3 meters), and optimize light exposure to the buds. Providing adequate lighting and maintaining a consistent temperature and humidity level are crucial for indoor success. A yield of 1.47 – 1.64 oz/ft² (450 – 500 g/m²) can be expected under optimal conditions.

Outdoor cultivation of Amnesia Regular is equally rewarding, particularly in regions with a tropical climate. The strain’s resilience allows it to flourish throughout the growing season, producing up to 26.46 oz/plant (750 g/plant) when given ample space and sunlight. Regular pruning and training can help manage the plant’s growth and improve airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests.

The Best Climate for Cultivation

Amnesia Regular thrives in tropical climates, where warm temperatures and high humidity levels mimic its natural growing conditions. These environments allow the strain to reach its full potential, producing robust plants with abundant yields. However, with the right setup, it can also be successfully cultivated in other climates.

In regions with cooler temperatures, indoor cultivation is recommended to maintain the necessary warmth and humidity levels. Utilizing grow lights and climate control systems can replicate the tropical conditions that Amnesia Regular prefers. This adaptability makes it a suitable choice for growers in diverse locations, from coastal areas to mountainous regions.

What Does the Amnesia Regular Strain Smell Like?

The aroma of Amnesia Regular is a delightful bouquet of citrus, fruity, and sweet notes that captivate the senses from the moment the buds begin to bloom. These fragrances are a result of the strain’s rich terpene profile, which includes compounds like Limonene, Myrcene, and Beta Caryophyllene.

As the plants mature, the scent becomes more pronounced, filling the growing area with a refreshing and invigorating smell reminiscent of a walk through a citrus grove. This aromatic profile not only adds to the sensory experience of growing and consuming Amnesia Regular but also hints at the flavorful experience that awaits.
