Check EC and temperature directly in moist growing media

The Aqua Master Tools E300 Pro2 measures electrical conductivity (EC) and temperature directly in soft, sufficiently moist substrates as well as liquids. It is designed for growers who want to check nutrient concentration not only in a nutrient solution but also directly within the root medium. Its separate EC electrode is connected by a 120 cm cable, giving you plenty of flexibility when taking readings at different points.

Direct measurements with automatic temperature compensation

The EC measuring range extends from 0.00 to 19.99 mS/cm. Depending on the level of detail required, you can select a resolution of either 0.01 or 0.1 mS/cm. At the same time, the E300 Pro2 measures temperatures from 0 to 50 °C. Automatic temperature compensation accounts for temperature changes within this range and helps provide comparable EC readings. Pro2 design with a high-contrast display

The Pro2 version features a black display with white characters for improved readability. It uses two standard AAA batteries and switches itself off automatically after eight minutes. A battery indicator lets you keep an eye on the remaining power. The meter is rated to IP65, while the connected electrode is IP67 waterproof. The EC electrode is also replaceable, allowing the main meter to remain in service when the electrode eventually needs changing.

Manual calibration and regular checking

EC calibration is performed digitally and manually. According to the manufacturer, the meter can be calibrated with a suitable EC calibration solution. Following successful calibration, the indicator provides another reminder after 30 days. A suitable option is available among the EC calibration solutions. As the E300 Pro2 measures EC and temperature rather than pH, you can complement it with equipment from the pH meter range when you also need to monitor acidity.
