Grape Pop Rocks Auto is a strain developed by Anesia Seeds. An indica-dominant hybrid with a pronounced sweet grape aroma, reaching up to 33% THC and offering an effect that transitions from mental inspiration to deep body relaxation. It’s ideal for growers seeking potency and flavour in short, uncomplicated cycles.
Genetica
This variety originates from a cross between Grape Pop Rocks photoperiod from the breeder and Ruderalis genetics. The result is a hybrid with 60% indica and 40% sativa.
The Grape Pop Rocks heritage provides the grape and candy terpene profile, high resin production and potency. The Ruderalis adds autoflowering, meaning the plant flowers by age rather than light hours, which simplifies cultivation and shortens timescales.
It develops a compact structure, with thick colas and dense, frosted buds. During maturation, the deep green of the flowers blends with purple tones and orange pistils, giving the harvest a very striking appearance.
In cultivation: fast, resilient and productive
Grape Pop Rocks Auto completes its life cycle in 60-65 days from germination, so in just over two months the harvest is ready. This speed allows multiple indoor crops to be chained together or different windows of the season to be exploited outdoors.
Indoors, production ranges between 500 and 550 g/m², a remarkable figure for an autoflowering. To get the most out of it, it’s advisable to apply LST and light defoliation. This improves light penetration and ventilation between branches, and the buds mature more uniformly and with more resin.
Outdoors and in greenhouses, each plant can yield up to 250 g. Its compact stature makes it very discreet, a clear advantage for balcony, terrace or small space cultivation.
One of its strengths is its resistance to pests, mould and environmental stress. This means it responds well under varied conditions and doesn’t require millimetre-perfect environmental control. It’s a solid option both for those taking their first steps in self-cultivation and for experienced growers seeking reliable harvests in short time.
Its abundant trichome production also makes it good raw material for cannabis resin extractions such as hashish, rosin or live resin, which preserve its fruity flavour well.
Flavour and effect: ripe grape, candy and creamy finish
The aromatic profile revolves around ripe grape, with a reminiscence of grape fizzy drink and freshly picked fruit. On the initial toke, that intense fruity note dominates. As the smoke expands, a candy sweetness appears, leaving a smooth and creamy finish on the palate.
The smoke is dense and aromatic, but remains smooth from start to finish. It’s a good choice for those who value flavour as much as potency.
The effect develops in two phases. Initially, a euphoric and mentally stimulating sensation predominates, with a creative and introspective impulse that complements activities like music or art well. As it progresses, the indica dominance takes over with a deep body relaxation that arrives gradually and ends in a very pronounced state of calm.
Due to its final intensity, it fits better in the afternoon or evening, when you feel like disconnecting. It’s worth remembering that we’re talking about a genetic reaching up to 33% THC, so moderation is recommended for those not accustomed to strains of this potency.
Cannabis seeds are sold for collection and genetic preservation. Check the law in your country before germinating them.
