Gorilla Candy by Eva Female Seeds

With Gorilla Candy, the first thing to read is the plant shape: moderate indoor height, broad leaves, a sturdy stem and a fir like frame that fills quickly with heavy flower zones. It does not behave like a tall, open sativa type, but more like a compact indica leaning plant with weight across the top and the side branches. For small to medium indoor rooms, that structure is useful because it builds mass without becoming unnecessarily tall.

The genetics combine Gorilla Glue #4 with Papa’s Candy. Gorilla Glue #4 brings the sticky resin side and firm flower build, while Papa’s Candy pushes the sweeter and fresher aromatic line. Eva Female Seeds describes Gorilla Candy as an indica leaning hybrid with around 75 percent indica and 25 percent sativa. That fits the visible plant character: broad, stable, branched and clearly focused on dense flower formation.

Indoors, flowering takes around 45 to 55 days, with final height usually around 80 to 100 cm. In tighter layouts, the key is not only the short flowering window but the air inside the frame. The flowers can become very resinous and compact, so spacing, airflow and a clean canopy matter more than heavy training. Indoor yield is listed at around 550 to 600 g/m².

Outdoors, Gorilla Candy can become much larger, reaching roughly 2 to 3 m depending on season, root volume and site. Eva Seeds lists the northern hemisphere harvest window around 1 October. In warm, airy locations or protected garden setups, the variety can build out its heavy flower structure well. In more humid areas, the density should be taken seriously, with enough light and wind reaching not only the top, but also the side branches.

The aroma stays clearly on the sweet side, but fresh notes, coffee, spice and a slightly sharper undertone give it more edge than a simple candy profile. The 1st prize at the Cannaval Cup 2018 in the Weed Professional category fits the resin rich appearance of the variety, but it does not need to carry the whole description. Within Eva Female Seeds, Gorilla Candy is the compact sticky weight line: fast to finish, broad in structure, strongly branched and best handled with enough room and moving air around the flowers.
