CVault – reliable storage for dried herbs, flowers & spices
If aromas and active compounds are to be preserved long term, three things matter most: minimal light exposure, minimal air exchange, and stable humidity. That’s exactly what the CVault is designed for – a sturdy stainless steel container that, together with a 2-way humidity pack, creates a constant microclimate inside.
304 stainless steel + silicone gasket: durable, airtight, and reusable
The CVault is made from high-quality 304 stainless steel, making it exceptionally durable and shatter-resistant. A wide, corrosion-resistant silicone gasket ensures an airtight seal. Depending on the size/variant, the lid is secured either with robust clamp latches (ideal for long-term storage) or with a twist-lock closure (practical for travel).
2-way humidity control in the lid: prevents drying out – and excess moisture
An integrated holder for the humidity pack is located under the lid. The pack automatically regulates relative humidity in both directions: it absorbs excess moisture and releases moisture when needed. Many sets are supplied with 62% RH packs (a classic value for storage and curing). If you prefer it drier, 58% packs are also available as an alternative.
Note on substitutions: Depending on the batch, a Boveda pack may be replaced with an equivalent Vivi Fresh pack.
How to use: getting the most out of your CVault
- Clean before first use: Wash with warm water and dish soap. For stubborn residues, isopropyl alcohol helps. (Tip: The container body can go in the dishwasher – the lid is best cleaned by hand.)
- Insert the humidity pack: Remove the outer packaging/foil and place the pack into the holder under the lid.
- Only fill with properly dried herbs/flowers: Material that is too moist can mold in an airtight container.
- Close & seal: Lock the clamps or close the twist-lock – done.
- Replace the pack in time: Rule of thumb: about every ~3 months. At the latest when the pack becomes completely hard at room temperature, it should be replaced.
