CO₂ Data Tracking & Day/Night Detection for the Controller AI+
The AC Infinity CO₂ + Light Sensor is designed specifically for direct use with the AC Infinity Controller AI+. It provides reliable readings for CO₂ concentration (PPM) and also detects the light status (on/off). When paired with the AC Infinity app, you can monitor CO₂ levels in real time and conveniently align CO₂ automations with your grow’s light cycle.
Important Note About the Light Function: On/Off Detection Only – No Light Control
Important: The built-in light sensor is used only to detect whether the light is on or off (day/night recognition). It is not intended to adjust, dim, or precisely control lighting. The light status is used so the controller can intelligently link CO₂ functions to the light phase (e.g., CO₂ injection only during lights-on).
Smart CO₂ Response: FAE Optimization & Stable PPM Levels
Based on the measured CO₂ values, the Controller AI+ can (depending on your setup/programming) coordinate CO₂ injection and ventilation to achieve efficient fresh air exchange (FAE) and keep CO₂ within the target range. By dynamically syncing CO₂ settings with fan programming, CO₂ spikes can be reduced and the environment optimized for photosynthesis. In addition, a minimum intake speed can be set to further improve grow efficiency based on PPM readings.
Compatibility & Automation Features
This sensor is intended exclusively for use with compatible AC Infinity AI controllers (Controller AI+). When combined with the controller and app, advanced features such as day/night scheduling, precision cycles, and environmental data collection are available to keep your system running reliably even as conditions change.
