Lineage Z OG Fast Version strain

Z OG Fast Version resulting from the cross between a elite clone of Z OG x elite clone of Grape Ape will produce a hybrid strain Mostly Indica 55% Indica / 45% Sativa. The strain will likely have a Citrus, Sweet flavor with a strong Mostly Indica body high.

Z OG combines Grape Ape with Grapefruit and an undisclosed third strain, while Grape Ape itself is a cross of Mendocino Purps, Skunk, and an Afghani strain. It also has a Medium THC 16% – 23%, making it a great choice for those looking for a strong and relaxing experience.

Origin

The Z OG Fast Version, a rapid flowering phenotype of the famous Z OG strain, has its roots deeply embedded in American soil. This genetic variant was specifically bred to reduce the flowering time while retaining the distinctive traits of the original Z OG. It combines genetics from Grape Ape and Grapefruit to produce a unique and potent profile, favored by growers for its quick turnaround.

European breeders have also embraced the Z OG Fast Version, adapting it to the varied climates of the continent. The strain’s robust genetics ensure that it thrives in diverse environmental conditions, making it a popular choice among European cultivators who seek the aromatic and colorful appeal of the original Z OG in a faster growing form.

Z OG Fast Version Sativa or Indica?

The Z OG Fast Version is predominantly indica 55% Indica / 45% Sativa, featuring a genetic makeup that leans heavily towards this variety. This lineage is evident in its growth patterns, leaf structure, and the deeply relaxing effects it produces. The fast version retains the compact, bushy stature typical of indica strains, making it ideal for growers with limited space.

Despite its indica dominance, the Z OG Fast Version exhibits some sativa like effects, including a cerebral burst that complements its relaxing physical high. This balanced effect profile makes it suitable for use during the evening or in moments when a blend of mental uplift and physical relaxation is desired.

Z OG Fast Version Effects

The Z OG Fast Version strain is renowned for delivering a Calming, Relaxed and Sedative. Its effects are characterized by a strong euphoric lift followed by a comforting sedation, making it an excellent choice for those looking to unwind after a stressful day. The presence of both indica and sativa effects allows for a well rounded experience.

Medically, this strain is often sought out for its potential to alleviate symptoms of Fatigue, Muscle Spasms or Stress.

Z OG Fast Version Flowering Time

The flowering time of the Z OG Fast Version is notably shorter than that of its parent strain, typically ranging between 7 to 8 weeks. This quick flowering cycle is a significant advantage for commercial growers and hobbyists alike who are aiming to maximize yield and reduce turnaround times. The fast version’s ability to bloom quickly without sacrificing quality or potency is a key factor in its popularity.

This shortened flowering period does not impact the strain’s ability to produce dense, resinous buds that are rich in THC. Growers can expect harvests that are both abundant and of high quality, with buds that exhibit the vibrant colors and intense aroma characteristic of the Z OG lineage.

How to grow Z OG Fast Version strain?

Z OG Fast Version cannabis seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are compact and robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, we should always prevent any pests.

You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Z OG Fast Version buds.

• Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
• Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Z OG Fast Version seeds, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.

For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform plane and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our Fast Flowering seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.

Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients when our Fast Flowering seeds are seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period.

When you grow cannabis seeds outdoors, choose the best date for your crop, a place where our cannabis plants receive the most hours of sunshine.

If on the other hand you like to grow your Fast Flowering seeds indoors and you have good tents, textile pots for growing, led lighting, air extractor, to circulate clean air and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law.

Keep daytime temperatures between 68℉-80℉ and nighttime temperatures between 7℉-9℉ cooler.

Fast Flowering plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase. Reduce RH to around 40% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, you can reduce RH to 30%.

Outdoors, breeders in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest in mid October. Healthy Z OG Fast Version seeds produce about 24 – 31 oz/plant | 700 – 900 gr/plant of buds each.

Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 7 – 8 weeks and produce about 1.47 – 2.14 oz/ft2 | 450 – 650 gr/m2.

Ideal Climate for Growing

The Z OG Fast Version strain flourishes ideally in a warm, subtropical climate with plenty of sunlight and moderate humidity. The perfect temperature range for its cultivation lies between 68-82°F (20-28°C). Properly maintaining this temperature will assure that this strain can fully express its unique flavor profile and potent effects, especially when cultivated in an outdoor environment. Meanwhile, the soil should offer good drainage to avoid any root related diseases, such as root rot.

The climate of these states compliments the optimum growing conditions of the Z OG Fast Version strain, allowing it to bring out its best yield and potency.
