Purpl Pro Cannabinoids Tester

Description

Purpl Pro, « Instant Cannabis Potency Measurement », is the flagship product of Purpl Scientific. It is an electronic device to measure the THC and CBD levels of marijuana buds in just 10 seconds, providing information on the potency of the flowers harvested from self-cultivation. It is an excellent tool when selecting genetics, whether from feminised or regular seeds.

What is Purpl Pro?

It is a small, square and very well finished device. It works by means of a close infrared spectroscope that emits light and provides a reading, which takes into account the reflected light, reporting data in THC, CBD, humidity and water activity percentages.

Purpl Pro’s light spectrum reacts with the molecules, resulting in a digital printout that correlates with the concentration. Purpl Pro is calibrated based on HLPC measurements (liquid chromatography) from state-certified laboratories.

Test for THC and CBD on the go

This new technology makes it easy to enjoy cannabinoid measurements wherever you are, as the Purpl PRO is 100% portable.

The cannabis market is reaching a point of specialisation, which is necessary in order to progress in the cannabis industry. Purpl Pro makes everything much easier, as it is no longer necessary to invest in large, expensive laboratories to obtain reliable data or to send samples for analysis. This can now be done in-house. Furthermore, the analysed samples are not destroyed during the analysis process.

How to use Purpl Pro

It is very easy to use. Calibrate the device, download the application and make the registration. Turn on the device, make sure the battery is charged, and connect it to the application to start the analysis.

Next, Purpl Pro is placed on the black rectangular accessory, opening the lid at the centre. In this aperture, centred over the Purpl Pro lens, the sample, previously crushed with the grinder, is placed. The grinder is included in the kit, thus preventing the material to be analysed from being manipulated with the hands. The lid is placed again, pressing lightly so that the contact between the sample and the lens is correct, thus obtaining optimal results in the analysis.

Purpl PRO App

The whole process is managed using the App, in a very simple and intuitive way that any user can operate easily. The reading is very fast and stable; in just about 10 seconds, the Purpl Pro reading is available in the application, being able to perform multiple analyses in a short time.

It is undoubtedly an essential tool for measuring the two main cannabis cannabinoids, THC and CBD to within 2%. It offers a maximum detection of 15% for CBD and 30% for THC. An ideal tool for breeders, seedbanks and cannabis associations among others.
