Jack Herer is listed by Green House as a cross between Haze and Red Skunk. The plant grows tall and develops the Christmas tree shape associated with Haze lines. Strong secondary branches carry long colas, while flower sites form across the entire frame.

The flowers remain slightly more open than those of particularly compact indica lines. Resin coverage spreads widely across the plant and may extend onto smaller branches and stems under suitable conditions. Light green flowers and numerous orange pistils give the longer colas a clearly structured appearance.

Flowering takes eight weeks. Green House lists indoor yields of up to 800 g/m² and recommends both SOG and ScrOG. Outdoors, the cultivar finishes toward late September in the Northern Hemisphere and can produce up to 1,200 g per plant. Strong branching distributes the long colas across an upright and sturdy frame.

Wood and pine form the Haze side of the aromatic profile. An incense note adds further depth. Red Skunk contributes sweetness, while a metallic outline remains noticeable in the background. Terpinolene, alpha-pinene and beta-caryophyllene are identified as the leading terpenes.
