Gorilla Zkittlez by Barney’s Farm

Gorilla Z, previously known as Gorilla Zkittlez, combines GG4 with Original Z in a feminized photoperiod line with an indica-oriented structure. The cross brings together the pronounced resin characteristics of GG4 and the sweet, fruit-forward profile associated with Original Z.

Indoors, Gorilla Z generally reaches a height of approximately 100 to 140 cm. Outdoor plants can grow to around 140 to 180 cm. Its frame therefore remains relatively manageable, while strong lateral branches and solid development provide enough space for substantial flower production.

The flowering period is approximately 55 to 65 days. Barney’s Farm lists an indoor yield range of around 700 to 800 g/m² under suitable conditions. Well-developed outdoor plants can produce considerably larger yields, although location, root space, climate and the length of the growing season remain decisive factors.

The flowers develop a dense trichome layer that clearly reflects the GG4 background. Compact flower formations and heavy resin coverage define the appearance, while Original Z shifts the cross towards a brighter and distinctly more fruit-forward direction.

Sweet berries and ripe fruit form the leading part of the aromatic profile. Pine, earth and a slightly dry foundation add depth and prevent Gorilla Z from being perceived solely as a sweet candy-oriented line.

Gorilla Z is suitable for indoor, outdoor and greenhouse environments. Its combination of manageable structure, relatively short photoperiod flowering time, high yield potential and substantial trichome production defines it as a modern GG4 and Original Z cross.
