Gelato

Description

Gelato by Original Sensible Seeds

Gelato combines Sunset Sherbet with Girl Scout Cookies, creating a modern Cali dessert line with 25 % THC. The strain pairs sweet cream, berries, citrus and herbal spice with a dense plant body and a clear Cookies connection.

The plant takes space, but not in a chaotic way. Indoors it usually sits in the medium to taller range, and outdoors it can push further. What matters more than height itself is how the flowers are built. There is enough structure here for the mass not to fall apart. The overall picture stays clean and dense.

With 60 to 65 days of flowering, the timing remains easy to plan. Under good conditions, yields of up to 550 g per m² indoors are commonly listed, with around 800 g per plant outdoors. That suits the line well. Gelato does not live on its name alone. It has enough substance to carry the scale it suggests.

On the nose, something sweet and creamy shows up first, then fruit and a lightly spiced depth move in behind it. That layering is what makes Gelato more interesting than softer lines that read only through sugar or pastry notes. There is enough friction in the profile to stop it from going flat.

Gelato therefore feels less like a passing trend piece and more like a strain that pulls modern US genetics into a fairly tight shape. Plenty of flower, plenty of resin, very clear outline.
