Dripz Feminized Feminized

Description

Dripz is a feminized seed from the American breeder James Loud Genetics. One of the hallmarks of this company is its commitment to traceability: all their varieties undergo independent laboratory analysis, with results included via QR code on the physical packaging, and their production relies on meristematic tissue culture techniques to ensure the cleanliness and genetic stability of each batch.

Genetics: Z Runtz and Grape Gas

Dripz comes from the cross between Z Runtz and Grape Gas. The result is an indica-dominant hybrid at 60% that concentrates the best of both lines. From a morphological standpoint, the variety is distinguished by large-sized buds with a very pronounced bag appeal and a striking chromatic expression: the deep purple tones that emerge during maturation are one of its most recognizable traits, confirmed both by the breeder itself and by growers who have documented their experience with this genetic.

Growing Dripz: indoor, outdoor and greenhouse

Indoors, Dripz completes its flowering in around 63 days, with an indicative range between 60 and 70 days. It presents a medium height and a favorable flower-to-leaf ratio that improves light penetration in the canopy. One factor to consider is the notable stretch during the flowering phase, so it’s advisable to anticipate sufficient space and assess height control techniques depending on available space. Production sits at a medium level, and its difficulty is intermediate-advanced, which makes it suitable for growers with some accumulated experience.

The variety is also suitable for outdoor and greenhouse cultivation, and its flowers stand out in any medium for their volume, their dense layer of extremely sticky resin and a virtually unmissable visual presentation. Harvest takes place during the first 10 days of October, with yields of up to 500 g/plant.

Aromas, flavors and effects of Dripz

The aromatic profile of Dripz is complex and intense. Candy and sweet caramel notes coexist with a pungent citrus, lemon notes, floral nuances and a characteristic presence of lavender, all with a fruity background that directly recalls the cross from which it comes. On the palate, the flavor picks up that same sweet architecture, fruit, lavender and lemon with that touch that some growers have described as gas station candy: the sweetness of Runtz terpenes with the gas and grape background that Grape Gas brings as a parent.

As an indica-dominant variety, Dripz inherits part of Grape Gas’s character, with a balanced effect profile. It’s a very relaxing strain that can become quite introspective.
