Blumat Easy, 1 pc.

Description

Blumat Easy – simple bottle-fed watering for potted plants

Blumat Easy is a compact watering aid for indoor, balcony and garden plants. It combines a bottle adapter with a porous clay cone to provide a continuous supply of water to the soil. This makes it particularly useful for straightforward short-term watering when you are away for a few days. You can find further options among the Blumat irrigation systems.

Constant water delivery through a porous clay cone

The porous clay cone releases approximately 200 ml of water into the surrounding soil over 24 hours. Unlike moisture-controlled irrigation systems, Blumat Easy has a fixed water output. Before leaving plants unattended for longer periods, it is therefore sensible to check whether this amount matches the plant’s water requirements and pot size.

Compatible with standard plastic bottles

The adapter fits almost all standard plastic bottles holding 0.5–2 litres. Fill the bottle with water, attach the Blumat Easy, pierce a small ventilation hole in the bottle and insert the clay cone upright into the soil. The air hole prevents a vacuum from forming and reducing the water flow. Glass bottles are not suitable for use with this system.

Useful for short absences and different pot sizes

With a 2-litre bottle, Blumat Easy can provide water for up to 10 days under suitable conditions. A sufficiently large saucer is recommended, particularly with small pots or plants that require little water. For larger pots with greater water requirements, the Blumat Easy XL offers a higher water output.
