Hesi Coco – straightforward flowering nutrition from a single-part feed

Hesi Coco is a liquid mineral base fertiliser for flowering plants grown in coco substrates. Its single-part formula keeps nutrient preparation straightforward for beginners and experienced growers alike: there are no separate A and B components to measure. Use it with coco in pots or in hydroponic systems that use a coco growing medium.

Nutrients formulated for coco substrates

Coco can retain minerals such as calcium, so its feeding requirements differ from those of other growing media. Hesi Coco takes this into account with a formulation tailored to the substrate. Alongside its NPK 3-4-5 nutrient balance, it contains calcium, magnesium and trace elements, complemented by vitamins and amino acids for the flowering stage.

Hesi Coco dosage, pH and EC

Add 5 ml per litre of water, equivalent to 50 ml per 10 litres. Do not exceed this rate. Once mixed, check the nutrient solution’s pH and adjust it to the recommended range of 5.8–6.2 where necessary. During the feeding period shown in the schedule, use Coco at every required watering. Watering frequency depends on factors including plant species, plant size and container volume.

EC measures the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution. Hesi Coco can produce a lower reading than other coco fertilisers. Do not keep adding concentrate simply to match another product’s EC reading; stay within the stated maximum dosage.

Using the Hesi Coco feed chart

The Hesi Coco feed chart uses Hesi TNT-Complex for vegetative growth, followed by Hesi Coco when flowering begins.

From the second half of flowering, Hesi PK 13/14 flowering supplement can complement the base feed. Follow its separate application rates and timing in the chart. It supplements Hesi Coco rather than replacing it.

Choose 1 L, 5 L, 10 L or 20 L to suit your usage

At 5 ml per litre of water, these pack sizes provide enough concentrate to treat 200, 1,000, 2,000 or 4,000 litres of water respectively. Base your choice on expected water consumption during the feeding period rather than plant numbers alone.
