Here at alchimiaweb you can now find the SE220 replacement probe for the Milwaukee MW100 pH meter. A gel-filled pH double junction electrode with a BNC connector and 1m cable, ideal to perform pH readings easily and efficiently.
The pH probes have a limited service life and should be replaced when necessary. This is essential in order to obtain fast and reliable readings.
When the probe fails or malfunctions the meter provides unreliable readings. We can observe this when the meter reading figure oscillates and does not display a fixed value on the screen.
When replacing the probe it is necessary to calibrate the meter. To proceed with the meter calibration we use pH calibration solutions in 2 points, pH 4.01 and pH 7.01. These calibration solutions are available in two formats, 20ml sachets and 230ml bottles.
It is very important to remember that probe maintenance is essential for a proper operation and durability. Using the pH probe storage solution we ensure that the probe is well protected.
If the probe is dirty we can use the probe cleaning solution to always keep it in perfect condition. This will help to obtain reliable pH readings of our nutrient solution.
