Origin

The lineage of Cherry Pie Og Auto is rich and storied, tracing back to some of the most beloved strains in the cannabis world. This autoflowering variety is the progeny of Cherry Pie, an Indica-dominant hybrid celebrated for its sweet and sour cherry pie aroma and relaxing effects. Cherry Pie itself is a cross between Granddaddy Purple and Durban Poison, bringing a perfect blend of mental stimulation and physical relaxation.

Granddaddy Purple Auto, one of the parents of Cherry Pie Og Auto, is a legendary strain in its own right. Known for its striking purple buds and grape forward flavor profile, it adds a layer of depth and complexity to the offspring. OG Kush Auto, the other parent, is famed for its potent effects and earthy, pine like flavor, rounding out the Cherry Pie Og Auto with robust genetics that promise a versatile and hearty plant.

Cherry Pie Og Auto Strain Sativa or Indica?

Cherry Pie Og Auto is a balanced strain with a 60% Indica and 40% Sativa composition. This hybrid nature offers users the best of both worlds, providing a balanced experience that is both relaxing and uplifting.

Meanwhile, the Sativa influence brings a gentle cerebral high that can promote creativity and focus without overwhelming the senses. This makes Cherry Pie Og Auto a versatile choice for both daytime and evening use, allowing users to enjoy its benefits regardless of the time of day.

Cherry Pie Og Auto Strain Effects

The effects of Cherry Pie Og Auto are a harmonious blend of its Indica and Sativa heritage. The overall effect is soothing and calming, making Cherry Pie Og Auto ideal for unwinding after a long day or preparing for a restful night’s sleep.

Cherry Pie Og Auto Flowering Time

The Cherry Pie Og Auto strain boasts a swift and efficient flowering time, with plants typically ready for harvest within 9 to 10 weeks from germination. This rapid life cycle is characteristic of autoflowering strains, which are bred to flower automatically after a certain period, rather than relying on light cycle changes.

This quick turnaround makes Cherry Pie Og Auto an excellent choice for cultivators looking to maximize their growing cycles throughout the year. The ability to harvest multiple times annually can significantly enhance yield outputs, particularly in regions with longer growing seasons. Indoors, growers can expect yields of approximately 1.31 to 1.64 ounces per square foot, while outdoor plants typically produce between 8.82 to 10.58 ounces per plant.

Growing Cherry Pie Og Auto is a rewarding endeavor, thanks to its robust and resilient nature. One of the benefits of this strain is its autoflowering capability, which simplifies the growth process by eliminating the need for strict light cycle management.

When growing Cherry Pie Og Auto indoors, it is essential to maintain optimal environmental conditions, including consistent temperatures and humidity levels. Proper ventilation and adequate lighting are crucial to support healthy plant development. Outdoors, this strain thrives in temperate climates, where it can benefit from ample sunlight and natural airflow.

Regardless of the growing environment, providing Cherry Pie Og Auto with quality nutrients and regular watering will ensure it reaches its full potential. Regular pruning and training techniques, such as LST (Low Stress Training), can also encourage bushier growth and improve overall yield.

Myrcene brings a deep, earthy and musky note with a sweet, berry-like depth that defines the strain’s fruity core. Often linked to gentle body relaxation, it drives the calm, comfortable side of the experience.

Caryophyllene adds a warm, peppery and lightly spicy edge that balances the sweetness. Often tied to easing tension and stress, it lends a grounded, settled feel to the effect.
