Lineage CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) strain

CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) comes from crossing California Sour, Lemon OG and an undisclosed CBD line, producing a mostly Sativa strain (75% Sativa / 25% Indica). It tends to show an apple, citrus, lemon, lime and sweet flavor with a bright, sativa-leaning high. It carries a balanced 1:1 ratio, with a Low CBD content of 6% – 8% and a similar low THC level, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a happy, energizing experience with little intensity.

Origin

This feminized strain, predominantly a Sativa, was developed by breeders renowned for their pioneering techniques. It crosses California Sour and Lemon OG, both known for uplifting effects and citrusy flavors, with a high-CBD line to achieve a balanced 1:1 THC to CBD ratio.

Both American and European breeders have refined it, concentrating on stabilizing the genetics for consistent cannabinoid profiles and quality.

CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) Sativa or Indica?

CBD Sour Lemon is predominantly a Sativa (75% Sativa / 25% Indica). Sativas are known for their energizing, uplifting effects, and this strain fits that profile perfectly, providing a stimulating, clear-headed experience that is ideal for daytime use and activities requiring focus and mental acuity.

It also shows typical Sativa traits, including tall growth (around 1.5 m) and narrow, elongated leaves. Those features, along with its high CBD content, underline its Sativa lineage. Users can expect a refreshing, uplifting effect that promotes alertness and creativity, without the intense psychoactive high of high-THC strains.

CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) Effects

The effects of CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) are primarily creative, energetic and uplifted, an excellent choice for anyone seeking a balanced, gentle experience. Users often report a bright elevation in mood alongside a soothing sense of calm, which makes it especially appealing for enjoying the benefits of CBD without significant psychoactive effects.

It is also valued for helping to ease stress, low mood and mild physical discomfort, delivering a refreshing, invigorating lift.

CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) Flowering Time

CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) has a moderate flowering time, typically 10 to 12 weeks. That window lets the plant fully develop its cannabinoid-rich buds and build a robust, citrus-forward terpene profile, which is a big part of the strain’s appeal.

Growers appreciate this manageable duration: it delivers a high-quality, resinous yield without an excessively long wait, and the stable genetics keep flowering times consistent across a grow, making planning straightforward for both novice and experienced cultivators.

How to grow CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) ?

CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are robust and moderately easy to grow, we should always prevent any pests.

You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) buds.

• Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
• Thanks to the experience of our customers with CBD Sour Lemon (1:1), we know that we can increase yields by up to 20%.

For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform canopy and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our CBD seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.

Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients as seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period.

When you grow outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where the plants receive the most hours of sunshine. If you prefer to grow indoors, use good tents, textile pots, led lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air and, of course, a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law. Keep daytime temperatures between 68-80 ℉ and nighttime temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.

CBD plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase, reduce it to around 40% during flowering and to about 30% by harvest.

Outdoors, breeders in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in spring for harvest in November. Healthy CBD Sour Lemon (1:1) seeds produce about 19 – 21 oz/plant | 550 – 600 gr/plant of buds each. Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 10 – 12 weeks and produce about 1.15 – 1.31 oz/ft² | 350 – 400 gr/m².

Ideal Climate for Growing

CBD Sour Lemon flourishes in a temperate climate with warm summers and mild winters. For optimal growth, aim for 70-85 ℉ (21-29 ℃). These conditions encourage robust plant health and maximize the strain’s unique flavor and cannabinoid content, and well-draining soil plus consistent sunlight are key to a successful grow.

In the United States, the best states for CBD Sour Lemon are California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Florida and Texas, which offer the warm temperatures and ample sunshine the strain needs, with a balance of humidity that supports healthy development. With the right location and steady temperatures, growers can achieve impressive yields and high-quality plants.
