Lineage Black Jack Autoflower

Black Jack Auto, from the cross of Jack Herer and Black Domina, is a sativa-leaning autoflowering hybrid (55% Sativa / 45% Indica). It tends to show an incense, sweet flavor with a bright, sativa-leaning high.

It also carries a Medium THC of 17% – 19%, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a happy experience with a good dose of energy.

Origin

The Black Jack Auto strain originated in Europe, where expert breeders crossed Jack Herer with Black Domina and added Ruderalis genetics for autoflowering.

The parent Black Domina is a potent blend of Northern Lights, Afghani, Ortega and California Hash Plant. This European work has produced a variety famous for its balanced effects and robust growth.

Its celebrated parents, Jack Herer and Black Domina, have long been recognized in cannabis competitions, and that pedigree carries through into Black Jack Auto. European breeders have crafted the strain for potency and resilience, a favorite among growers and consumers alike.

Black Jack Auto Sativa or Indica?

Black Jack Auto is sativa-leaning (55% Sativa / 45% Indica), with a genetic makeup that tilts toward energizing, uplifting effects. It still carries clear indica traits from Black Domina, but its primary character is a cerebral high with creative stimulation.

That carefully selected balance makes for a versatile hybrid: users can expect mental clarity and a bright lift alongside a genuine physical relaxation, a well-rounded experience that caters to a range of preferences.

Black Jack Auto Effects

The effects of Black Jack Auto reflect its sativa-leaning genetics. Users commonly report a euphoric, uplifting cerebral high with an energetic edge, which makes it a great choice for daytime use, enhancing creativity and focus. As the lift settles, the Black Domina side brings a comfortable physical relaxation that keeps the experience balanced.

For growers, Black Jack Auto seeds are sought after for their ability to produce plants with these energetic, euphoric and relaxed effects consistently, a favorite among cannabis enthusiasts.

Black Jack Auto Flowering Time

Black Jack Auto has a short seed-to-harvest time, typically around 8 to 10 weeks. That efficiency comes from its well-crafted autoflowering genetics, letting cultivators enjoy a timely, rewarding harvest.

Whether grown indoors or outdoors, Black Jack Auto’s quick cycle fits growers’ expectations for a smooth, efficient process. Its balanced effects and favorable growing characteristics make it a valuable addition to any garden.

How to Grow Black Jack Autoflower seeds?

Black Jack Autoflower seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are moderately easy to grow and hardy, we should always prevent any pests. You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Black Jack Auto buds.

• Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
• Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Black Jack Autoflower seeds, we know that we can increase yields by up to 20%.

Autoflowering seeds are very popular among growers. They are known for their fast life cycle and their ability to flower automatically after a set period of time, rather than relying on changes in the light cycle like other cannabis strains. As for light, they can grow and flower with as little as 12 hours per day, and they do not need a specific light change to move from the vegetative to the flowering stage. We recommend an 18/6 or 20/4 schedule to obtain the best possible yields. This gives growers greater control over the process without having to worry about light timing.

Even so, it is important that the plants receive enough light for healthy growth, as the quality and quantity of light affect both yield and development. Another advantage of autoflowering seeds is their fast life cycle: these plants can grow and flower in as little as 8-10 weeks, which means several harvests a year. They also tend to be smaller and more compact, making them ideal for small spaces or indoor grows. As for quality, keep in mind that genetics and growing conditions play a big role.

Many autoflowering strains have won awards for their taste, aroma and effects, proving they can produce high-quality marijuana. Remember that our plants also need good nutrients as seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period. When you grow outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where the plants receive the most hours of sunshine. If you prefer to grow indoors, use good tents, textile pots, led lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air and, of course, a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law. Keep daytime temperatures between 68-80 ℉ and nighttime temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.

Black Jack Auto plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase, reduce it to around 40% during flowering and to about 30% by harvest.

Outdoors, in the Northern Hemisphere growers should sow their autoflowering seeds in April, achieving a first harvest in mid summer and a second between July and mid October. Healthy Black Jack Auto seeds produce about 24 oz/plant | 700 gr/plant of buds each.

Indoors, these crops take 8 – 10 weeks from seed to harvest and produce about 1.31 – 1.8 oz/ft² | 400 – 550 gr/m².

Ideal Climate for Black Jack

Black Jack Auto flourishes in warm, tropical-type climates, with an ideal temperature range of 68-77 ℉ (20-25 ℃) and ample light exposure for vigorous growth. It performs well at moderate altitudes and handles annual precipitation between 15-40 inches (380-1016 mm), as long as the soil drains well to prevent water logging and root rot.

In the United States, states with these favorable climates include Florida, California, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, Louisiana, Nevada and Hawaii. Black Jack Auto expresses its full genetic potential in these conditions, promising bountiful yields for growers who match the strain’s warm, sunny needs.

What does the Strain Smell Like?

The buds of Black Jack Auto are rock hard, soaked in resin and carry a crystalline sheen from the sheer amount of trichomes.

It has a distinctive “cathedral” aroma profile, with notes of spicy pine and sandalwood over an earthy, sour-lemon base. Its taste and flavor are a blend of incense and sweet notes. Black Jack Auto makes a delicious, smooth smoke and delivers a happy experience with a good dose of energy. Thanks to its large resin production, it is an ideal strain for high quality extracts and concentrates.
