Honduras Regular by ACE Seeds

Honduras Regular by ACE Seeds is a regular variety for growers and breeders who want to work with a true Central American sativa landrace. Within the ACE catalogue, it holds a special place because, as a pure second generation sativa from Honduras, it represents a very original yet highly productive tropical line with high yield, clear effect profile, and a well developed terpene character.

In cultivation, Honduras shows a tall, flexible, and strongly branched plant development with medium to longer internodal spacing and a clearly tropical sativa structure. The line is not intended for compact routine grows, but for growers who want to work with real landrace architecture and are prepared to provide space, light, and deliberate plant management. It is precisely this open, elegant, and supportive structure that makes Honduras one of the most important reference lines among the regular Central American sativas in the ACE programme.

With a flowering time of around 13 to 14 weeks, Honduras belongs to the later finishing regular sativa landraces in the ACE range. Yield is considered very high. The stated THC range is around 8 to 18 percent, CBD up to 0.06 percent, and CBG up to 1 percent. The variety is recommended for latitudes from 0º to 43º and shows medium to good resistance levels against spider mites, powdery mildew, and white fly, high resistance to botrytis, average-high cold tolerance, and high heat resistance.

One of the defining traits of Honduras is its clear effect logic. The line is described with a clean, energetic, and mental sativa effect that avoids heavy body weight, heavy ceiling pressure, or an unpleasant after-effect. It is precisely this light, clear, and highly usable tropical effect that makes it especially attractive for growers and breeders looking not only for strength, but also for quality, elegance, and functional sativa presence.

Aromatically, Honduras moves in a very typical yet finely developed Central American direction. It is described with a bouquet of floral, citrus, geranium-like, musky, woody, and spicy notes. In the terpene profile, especially very high levels of terpinolene and high levels of beta-myrcene stand out, supported by variable alpha-pinene, trans-ocimene, beta-pinene, and smaller amounts of cedrol, limonene, linalool, trans-phytol, and other secondary compounds. In the sesquiterpene fraction, beta-caryophyllene dominates, accompanied by variable smaller amounts of beta-nerolidol, alpha-humulene, trans-nerolidol, and guaiol.
