Gorilla Gohan: Gorilla Cookies and Blue Zushi

The lineage comes from crossing Gorilla Cookies, known for its flower density, heavy physical effect, and very distinct earthy cookie flavour with Blue Zushi genetics, which gives the hybrid more exotic undertones of ripe fruit and citrus with a slightly funky background that balances the aggressiveness of the Gorilla OG. The result is a plant that not only stands out for its yield, but also for its distinct aroma and flavour.

Growing: sturdy structure and manageable flowering

Gorilla Gohan grows with muscle, medium-tall stature, medium to long internodes, and side branches that respond well to moderate training (LST, topping). Its medium-high stretch once flowering begins requires good support (trellising) if production is to be maximised. Indoors it requires 8-9 weeks of flowering to reach a good level. Outdoors, with the right climate, it can offer high yields with good crop management and be harvested during the first week of October. This strain is aimed at growers who don’t want hassle, but do want to fill the room or garden with high impact buds.

Flavour and effect: earthy cookie dough, citrus, diesel and couch-lock.

In terms of aroma/flavour, Gorilla Gohan starts with a strong base of earthycookie dough, loaded with the funk/gas presence of Gorilla Cookies. In the background are tones of berries, citrus and a sweet diesel nuance that finishes off the combination. The palate is intense, with noticeable evolution and good after taste.

The effect leans towards indica: first cerebral high, spark of clarity, followed by a physical effect where the body relaxes and thinking slows down. Ideal to end the day, unwind or enjoy music and food; not the strain to be hyperactive or go out in the park.
