BioTabs Complete Fertiliser Set with Compost Tea – organic feeding and active soil biology

The BioTabs Complete Fertiliser Set with Compost Tea brings together six complementary products for organic plant nutrition. It combines soil improvers, beneficial micro-organisms, slow-release fertiliser tablets, liquid fertiliser and a compost tea mixture. The set allows you to prepare your growing medium, support root development and provide nutrients throughout the vegetative and flowering stages. Suitable for beginners and experienced growers alike, it can be used with soil or coco in indoor and outdoor cultivation.

Build an active growing medium with Startrex, Mycotrex and Bactrex

Healthy soil biology plays a central role in the BioTabs feeding system. The three included soil improvers each contribute to different aspects of the root environment.

Startrex is mixed into the growing medium before planting. It contains organic nutrients, beneficial soil bacteria, humus, fulvic acids and silicon. Mycotrex is applied directly to the planting hole and provides nine species of mycorrhizal fungi. These fungi can form a symbiotic relationship with plant roots, helping them access water and minerals.

Bactrex introduces beneficial soil bacteria and Trichoderma fungi. These micro-organisms help break down organic matter and support biological activity around the roots.

Slow-release BioTabs and Orgatrex for consistent plant nutrition

The set includes two packs of ten BioTabs fertiliser tablets, giving you 20 tablets in total. These organic slow-release tablets have an NPK ratio of 15-7-8 and gradually release nutrients into the growing medium. Insert them into soil or coco according to the pot size and the BioTabs feeding schedule.

Orgatrex is an organic liquid fertiliser with an NPK ratio of 5-1-5. It complements the tablets during vegetative growth and flowering while supplying organic compounds that support microbial activity in the growing medium. Individual products and refills are available in our BioTabs organic fertiliser range.

Prepare fresh PK Booster Compost Tea for the flowering stage

The additional PK Booster Compost Tea makes this set particularly useful for growers who want to encourage soil biology during flowering. The 650 g dry mixture contains concentrated organic compost, active micro-organisms, bat guano and kelp. Selected bacteria help release phosphorus and mobilise potassium in the growing medium.

To prepare the compost tea, mix 15 g of PK Booster Compost Tea and 5 ml of Orgatrex with each litre of room-temperature, chlorine-free water. Aerate the mixture continuously for 24–36 hours. Once aeration is complete, use the freshly brewed tea within four hours.

Preparing compost tea requires a suitable container, air pump, air tubing and diffuser, which are not included in this fertiliser set. You can find suitable equipment in our range of air pumps for aeration. Additional BioTabs PK Booster Compost Tea is also available separately when you need to replenish your supplies.

A coordinated organic feeding system from planting to flowering

This complete set provides the core components for an organic feeding programme, starting with preparing the growing medium and continuing through the flowering stage. Combining slow-release fertiliser, liquid nutrients and beneficial micro-organisms reduces the need for frequent additional feeding. The compost tea adds another way to encourage microbial activity when plants enter flowering.

Application rates depend on pot volume and the plants being grown. Follow the BioTabs feeding schedule and the instructions for each individual product to achieve a balanced nutrient supply.
