Power Plant

Popis

South African Sativa Line with Heavy Yield Potential

Power Plant has been one of Dutch Passion’s defining classics since its introduction in 1997. Its genetics originate in South Africa and were backcrossed within the line rather than hybridised with another strain. This preserved a highly uniform and distinctly Sativa-dominant character.

The plants grow quickly and develop considerable stretch after flowering begins. Short to medium internodal spacing allows the flowers to stack into long, continuous formations that can reach approximately 30 to 50 centimetres.

This structure is particularly well suited to SOG and ScrOG systems. Power Plant fills available space rapidly, responds well to careful bending and tolerates fluctuations in temperature and humidity comparatively well. Its robust development also makes the line accessible to less experienced growers.

The current breeder specification lists a flowering time of around 8 weeks. Typical indoor production is approximately 500 to 600 g/m². Higher figures are possible under highly optimised conditions, although the main feature remains substantial output within a manageable flowering window.

The aromatic profile is pungent and traditional. Woody, spicy, earthy and floral notes lead the composition, followed by touches of lily and soft vanilla. Together with the long resinous flowers, this gives Power Plant a recognisable character far removed from modern dessert-style genetics.
