Gipsy Haze by Eva Female Seeds

Gipsy Haze asks for an early decision in the grow room. If it is left too long in vegetative growth, the plant can quickly take more vertical space than planned. Eva Female Seeds recommends switching to flower at around 35 to 45 cm, and from cuttings from roughly 25 cm. This is not a variety to treat passively; it should be planned around height, spacing and canopy control from the start.

The cross of Jack Herer, Black Domina and Space Bomb explains that behaviour. Jack Herer brings the sativa driven upward movement, Black Domina adds more density and body to the flower structure, while Space Bomb contributes resin and a fruit forward aromatic side. The result is not a very late, endless Haze project, but a faster handled hybrid with around 80 percent sativa and a firmer flower build than many very open sativa lines.

Indoors, flowering takes around 60 to 65 days. The plant develops medium to wider internodal spacing, narrow elongated leaves and strong side branches that should be included in the layout rather than ignored. At nine to twelve plants per square metre, it can work efficiently when the canopy is shaped early. A late flip, poor spacing or uneven height management can make the run more difficult than necessary.

Outdoors, Gipsy Haze becomes a much larger plant. Depending on sowing time, it can reach around 1.8 to 3 m, so it needs room, light and moving air. In the northern hemisphere, the outdoor harvest window is roughly 5 to 15 October. That fits warm and well ventilated Mediterranean style locations, while cooler or persistently damp areas require a more cautious look at plant size, late season weather and flower density.

The aroma is not just a simple fruit note. Lemon, mango and incense come together in a bright, slightly sweet Haze profile with a deeper spicy line underneath. The awards from 2015 and 2017 show that the variety also gained attention in resin and extraction categories, but they should stay in the background. The practical point is clearer: Gipsy Haze is for growers who want Haze character without letting the plant run wild, and who are prepared to guide stretch, air and canopy before the room gets away from them.
